GRAND STRATEGY MATRIX

Grand strategy matrix is one of the strategic management tools. This tool helps creating alternatives  for an organization.

 

There exist four quadrants that contain various strategies. The Grand stratey matrix also count with  two dimensions.

 

1. Competitive position

2. Market Growth.

 


All organizations can be positioned in one of the Grand Strategy Matrix’s four strategy quadrants.

Culinary Delights is actually located in Quadrant II, because as we can see the nutrition industry is growing really fast, but our competitive position it’s still very low.


Although we are in a growing industry, we need to create a distinctive competence, which can lead us to have a strong competitive position; through the implementation of an intensive strategy we can achieve this in a long-term.


We will pursue an intensive strategy, such as market penetration, because we think we need to increase our recognition in the market, leading us build a better competitive position.
