The production/operations function of a business consists of all those activities that transform inputs into goods and services. A manufacturing operation transforms inputs such as raw materials, labor, capital, machines and facilities into finished goods and services.
According to Roger Schroeder, production/operations management comprises 5 decision areas:
-
Process
-
Capacity
-
Inventory
-
Workforce
-
Quality
PROCESS

As our company has a physical product that is the magazine, we need certain raw materials for its realization.
- We need special magazine paper (coated paper)
- Ink black and colore (by mass)

Although initially we hire a company that we print magazines, the future we want to have our own raw materials for the magazine.
The resources we have are:
-For the realization of the magazine we need computers.
